Hawk (Red Arrows)
The red arrows officially known as the  RAF Aerobatic Team were formed in late 1964 replacing a number of unnofficial teams that had been sponsored by RAF commands. This aircraft was chosen because it was less expensive to operate than front-line fighters. Initially they were equipped with 7 inherited Folland Gnat trainers. In 1966, the team was increased to 9 member enabling the diamond nine formation, then in 1979 the BAE Hawk was used. The Red Arrows have performed over 4,000 displays worldwide in 53 countries.
Concorde
The concorde was a turbojet-powered supersonic airliner. It was first flown in 1969. Concorde flew regular transatlantic flights at record speeds in less that half the time of other airliners. Only 20 were built. It's retirement flight was on 26th November 2003
Harrier
The Harrier, informally referred to as the Jump Jet, is a family of British-designed military jet aircraft capable of vertical/short take off and landing (V/STOL) operations. The Harrier family is one of the only truly successful designs of this time from the many that arose in the 1960's.
